Position: Vice President in Healthcare team
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Paris Office (Champs Elysées)
Compensation: Competitive salary + bonus based on individual contribution and transaction success
Our Corporate Finance activities focus mainly on the Healthcare and TMT industries. Bryan, Garnier & Co provides clients with advice on capital markets transactions (IPO, follow-on offerings and PIPEs), mergers and acquisitions, LBOs, private placements (venture, growth capital) and equity linked and structured debt financings. The team is made up of seasoned investment bankers from a broad variety of backgrounds and international experience including former venture capitalists from the industries which we focus on.
We are recruiting a Vice President to support the growing activity of our Corporate Finance Department in Paris and to strengthen its Healthcare team.
Bryan, Garnier & Co requires that a Vice President assume high levels of responsibility almost immediately. As the principal client contact in a client engagement, a Vice President coordinates the transaction process, from initial meeting with senior management to working closely with senior professionals to negotiate mandates. This generally involves meeting with CEOs, CFOs and corporate development executives of public and private technology and healthcare companies, preparing and delivering client presentations and managing a team of analysts and support staff.
The position appeals to individuals with hands-on experience in both execution and assistance in origination, who seek a challenging opportunity requiring expertise and great reliability.
A Vice President typically works on more than one transaction concurrently, with an initial emphasis on project execution rather than on marketing pitches and research projects. The position will provide unparalleled exposure to senior professionals and the world of corporate finance. Tasks involve:
- Manage execution and transaction processes
- Provide support in deal origination
- Ensure timely preparation of presentations, transaction materials and financial analyses
- Manage and train associates and analysts
- Contribute to the development of our healthcare franchise
The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record from a recognized college or university with a degree in Business or Finance: Business Schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Science Po, EM Lyon…), Tier 1 University (Dauphine, Sorbonne, Assas…) and Engineering Schools (Mines, Centrale…). In order for applicants to be considered, a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in Corporate Finance investment banking is required. We are looking for individuals with the following skills:
- High level of autonomy in transactions and in client interactions
- Excellent technical competences combined with attention to details
- Time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven interest in healthcare
