Paris, July 6th 2011 – Bryan, Garnier & Co, the independent pan-European Investment Bank for growth companies, announces the completion of a € 8.0m capital increase for Orège, a wastewater treatment solution provider.

The capital increase has been funded by Climate Change Capital (CPE), with €6m of the €8m round, alongside with Oraxys SA, a Luxembourg-based cleantech private equity fund.

Orège has 40 employees and is based in Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris, and has an R&D facility in Aix-en-Provence. Orège plans to achieve €5.0m turnover this year. Orège has now filed four patents relating to its two key technologies:

SOFHYS® technology for the treatment of industrial effluents contaminated with hydrocarbons.

SLG technology for the de-watering and the treatment of industrial sludge.

Orège’s patents are advanced wastewater treatment solutions in a highly cost efficient manner. The resulting water from the treatment process can be reused for industrial purposes or released back into the natural environment.

Orège’s management appointed Bryan, Garnier & Co with the objective of raising funds from leading international investors. Among numerous specialized investors Climate Change Capital and Oraxys’ were selected based on their in-depth knowledge of the wastewater market and their ability to access a broad range of potential new clients for Orège.

Pascal Gendrot, Orège’s Chief Executive Officer said: “Orège is delighted to welcome blue-chip international investors CPE and Oraxys among its shareholders. This is a key milestone in Orège’s development: we have substantial capital to build on our commercial successes and to accelerate the expansion of Orège in France and internationally through investments into our own fleet of mobile SOFHYS® and SLG units. Our new investors also bring us key industrial connections to support our growth in France and internationally.”

François Arpels, Managing Director at Bryan, Garnier & Co, added that:” This transaction demonstrates Bryan Garnier’s ability to generate interest internationally and as a result to secure attractive deals for its clients. We are proud to bring our clients our global network and our local expertise.”

“This is another key transaction for Bryan Garnier’s Cleantech franchise. Our ongoing investments across our investment banking platform in the renewable space continue to bear fruit: after transactions in sectors such as Solar, Wind, Biomass, Biogaz and Carbon Credit markets across broad geographies including Italy, the United Kingdom, Sweden and France, we further expand our footprint and expertise in the sector with this transaction in the fast growing Water Technology industry. While many premier water technology franchises are bottled inside large multi-industry global companies, Orege is one of the few independent players with ground breaking technology which has the potential to redefine processes in its field of expertise” states Olivier Beaudouin, Managing Director leading the cleantech franchise effort at Bryan, Garnier & Co.

Bryan, Garnier & Co acted as exclusive financial adviser to Orège.
